Acceptance of Terms
Standard VerifAI ("the Service") is provided by VerifAI Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing access to the Service, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
B2B Trade Use — Consumer Guarantees Act Does Not Apply
This Service is sold exclusively for business and commercial purposes. This is a business-to-business (B2B) transaction between VerifAI Limited and a corporate entity or business acquiring the Service for the purposes of a trade or business. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) does not apply to this transaction.
Certification Access
Upon successful payment, each registered employee email address will receive access to the Standard VerifAI certification program. Access is granted to the individual email addresses submitted at checkout and is strictly non-transferable.
Intellectual Property
All training materials, quiz content, frameworks, policy documents, and programme content provided through the Service remain the exclusive intellectual property of VerifAI Limited. Customers may not reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, or commercialise any programme content.
Limitation of Liability
The Service provides educational and informational content and does not constitute legal advice. VerifAI Limited is not liable for any regulatory, legal, or commercial outcomes arising from a Customer's AI usage practices. Use of the Service does not guarantee regulatory compliance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Data We Collect
We collect the email addresses provided at checkout for the purpose of delivering certification access and digital certificates. We may also collect basic transaction metadata required for payment processing via Stripe.
How We Use Your Data
Email addresses are stored securely and used solely for: (1) delivering Standard VerifAI certification access; (2) sending the digital certificate upon programme completion; and (3) essential transactional communications.
No Data Resale
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose employee email addresses or any personal data to third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Data is never resold under any circumstances.
Data Security
All personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
Third-Party Services
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance standards. We do not store payment card information on our systems.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold. Contact privacy@verifai.co.nz to exercise your rights under the Privacy Act 2020.
All Sales Final
Due to the digital nature of the Standard VerifAI certification programme, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once certification access has been issued to the registered email addresses.
No Refunds for Digital Products
This is a B2B transaction for a digital educational product. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. No statutory right of refund exists under these terms.
Non-Transferable Access
Certification access is issued to the specific email addresses submitted at checkout. Access cannot be transferred to alternative email addresses or other individuals. Ensure all email addresses are accurate before completing payment.
Technical Issues
If you experience a technical failure that prevents access to the programme (i.e., a failure on our platform, not on the employee's device or network), please contact support@verifai.co.nz within 7 days of purchase. We will resolve the issue or, at our sole discretion, provide replacement access.
